They're out there. Somewhere in the ice, somewhere in the fire, somewhere in the storm — the three legendary birds have taken roost across Flevin, and they're waiting to be found.
Three Birds, Three Corners of the World
Articuno has settled somewhere cold — a place of frost and silence, far from the noise of any town. Look to the northeast, somewhere around (4,000, -4,000).
Moltres has made its home where the ground itself burns — deep in volcanic country, among crater and ash. Head southeast, roughly around (6,000, 3,500).
Zapdos rides the storms above a lightning-scarred peak, appearing only to those who dare climb high enough. Try the northwest, somewhere near (-7,000, -2,500).
Those numbers are approximate on purpose — we're not handing you a marked X. Half the fun is the hunt.
Tip: once you're in the right neighborhood, open your Pokédex tools — Cobblenav's Location Screen or Where Does It Spawn? — and check what's around you. They'll tell you if you're standing in a spot where something rare can actually appear, which is as close to a "getting warmer" signal as we'll give you. What we will say: these are genuinely ultra-rare — think shiny-hunt rare, not "I'll stumble into one this afternoon" rare. If you're serious about catching one, be ready to camp, be patient, and bring your best Poké Balls. You'll know when one is near — the world itself will tell you.
Also Since Our Last Update
It's been a big couple of weeks behind the scenes. Here's everything else that landed:
The world doubled — twice. Our border grew from ±5,000 to a full ±10,000 blocks, fully pre-generated so exploration stays smooth all the way to the edge. That's four times the land to explore, and it's not empty filler — we chased down biomes that were missing from the old map, so now you can find things like Painted Mountains, Warped Mesa, Amethyst Canyon, and even the ultra-rare Alpha Islands out in the far reaches.
New tools for your journey:
- Explorer's Compass — point it at a biome or structure and it'll guide you straight there. No more wandering blind through 100+ biomes.
- Iron Chests — bigger storage tiers (iron, gold, diamond) for when a regular chest just won't cut it anymore.
- Reinforced Shulker Boxes — the same idea, but portable. Haul more, worry less.
Under the hood. We quietly fixed the rare crash some of you hit a couple weeks back (a bug in the claims mod, now patched), and — maybe more importantly — the server now backs up automatically, every night in full and every hour for your Pokémon and inventory data. If the unthinkable happens, your progress is safe.
What's Next
The birds are live right now — no countdown, no scheduled event, just three legendaries hiding in a world twice the size it used to be. Good luck out there.
