Waystones Have Arrived — Fast Travel Comes to Flevin

Craft waystones, link the world, and stop walking 4,000 blocks to your friend's base. Plus a stability fix — and whispers of something stirring.

Crossing the world just got a lot less painful. As of today, the server runs the Waystones mod — and thanks to our automatic updater, you already have it. Just connect, accept the update prompt, and you're set.

How waystones work

Waystones are craftable structures that teleport you between any two you've activated:

  • Craft one — the recipe is in EMI (search "waystone"), built around stone bricks and an ender pearl.
  • Place it and name it — right-click your placed waystone to activate and name it.
  • Activate others — any waystone you touch in the world gets added to your personal list, forever.
  • Warp anytime — right-click any waystone to open your list and jump to any other one you've activated.

We suggest placing one near your base and one at spawn as your first pair. As more players scatter waystones across the map, the whole world knits together — check the live map to plan your network.

Why this matters now

The world border spans ±5,000 blocks with over 100 Terralith biomes, and some trainer hunts send you far. Flying Pokémon come late in progression — waystones close that gap for everyone still on foot.

Also in this update

  • Crash fix: the rare server crashes some of you witnessed this week were traced to a bug in the claims mod — it's patched, and the server has been stable since.
  • Server claims got friendlier: doors, furnaces, and healing machines inside server-claimed areas (like spawn) are now usable by everyone.
